It is with great sadness and regret that I have come to the very difficult decision for euphoria to have a pause in trading.
The recent closures stipulated by the government did not include beauty salons, but, I feel that in light of the current situation, I would be putting both your welfare, and that of the euphoria team at risk if we were to remain open.
Anyone with an appointment booked for the future will be contacted over the coming days. Apologies if the telephone number we hold for you is not current and we haven’t been able to reach you. Hopefully you will read this.
As from Monday 23rd March I will have the euphoria telephone number (0115 922 0304) redirected so that I can answer any questions you may have. If you feel like a chat then I would love that too! Those of you who purchase skincare from euphoria will still be able to do so . . . just telephone me on the regular number, place your order, pay over the telephone and I will post it out to you. My postman assures me Royal Mail will continue to deliver come what may!!
The euphoria team would like to keep in touch with you, especially as some may feel isolated by adhering to the social distancing advice.
Please look out for future newsletters with hints and tips regarding how to remain groomed without the help of our talented euphoria team.
However, the easiest method of communicating is via our Facebook page. I know some of you are anti social media, as was I on a personal level. However, as as we move forward through these difficult times, my opinion is changing. It’s crucial that we all keep in touch to boost moral, have a giggle over funny stories and videos, keep our brains and bodies active and for some, feel that they are not alone. I have been very grateful to Natalie for taking the euphoria Facebook under her wing and doing such a tremendous job. We now hope to build on this success during the unprecedented times ahead.
Our aim is not only to keep you up to date with beauty hints and tips, but to also use the euphoria Facebook as a means of reaching out with general news, things of interest, tips of books to read, television programmes to watch, music to listen to . . . the list is endless and I’m sure it will evolve and grow as we move forward.
If you are not familiar with Facebook – it’s a platform where we can write about an endless amount of things and you can reply privately or publicly so that everyone else can join in too. You can also make comments and we can reply. Again, this can be done privately or publicly. It is a very easy two way street of communication (those who know me well would never in a million years have thought I would have said that!!).

I’ve been participating in daily online yoga classes that my yoga teacher, who is on lockdown in Spain, has posted on Facebook – she lives on the side of a mountain and relies on solar power so there’s been the occasional break if it’s been particularly cloudy but on the whole it’s been great. She’s finding people are joining in from all over the world, proving that social media really can get us all interacting in a positive way.
